What Restor protects in HubSpot

Restor separates data it can restore from data retained for review and export. This page documents the current private-beta boundary.

Recoverable

These surfaces have version history and a restore path, subject to the connected portal's HubSpot products, permissions, and current API behavior.

  • Contacts, companies, deals, tickets, and their properties.
  • Notes, calls, meetings, tasks, and selected CRM activities.
  • Custom object records when a compatible schema still exists.
  • Selected commerce and service records when the required HubSpot product and scopes are available.
  • Associations between protected records and activities. Weekly association checks use a full sweep, and missing or ambiguous links are skipped rather than guessed.
  • Active, archived, and later deleted records observed by Restor. Recreated records receive new HubSpot IDs.
  • List definitions and membership history. Deleted-list recovery depends on HubSpot permissions and the available restore path.

Available for review and export

Restor keeps these surfaces as evidence but does not automatically write them back to HubSpot.

  • Logged emails.
  • Workflow definitions and behavioral event history.
  • Quotes, invoices, payments, orders, subscriptions, carts, and other available commerce data.
  • Property definitions, property groups, pipelines, stages, custom object schemas, and selected account configuration metadata.
  • Forms, immutable submission history, and campaign definitions.
  • Available Content Hub, HubDB, Design Manager, audit, marketing, and subscription-consent data.
  • File and folder metadata. File binaries are not retained, so this is not a complete File Manager backup.

Not supported yet

  • File binaries and knowledge base article bodies.
  • Reports, dashboards, playbooks, and sequences.
  • Roles, permissions, seats, and unsupported account settings.
  • Sensitive and highly sensitive properties that require additional HubSpot scopes.
  • New HubSpot objects or surfaces that have not completed Restor's backup, export, and restore checks.

Frequency and retention

Records and most covered definitions are checked daily. History remains available while HubSpot is connected, and existing live-service backups are retained for 90 days after disconnecting.

See the privacy information for the full deletion and disaster-recovery lifecycle.

Restore boundaries

A restore plan is checked against live HubSpot before execution. Read-only properties, ambiguous associations, missing configuration, and records changed after approval are not overwritten automatically.

Product availability and HubSpot API behavior can change. Contact hello@restor.to for the coverage schedule that applies to a specific portal.
